This is the day where our full rehearsal is going on. In which we actually acquired and collected all the logistic items from different places like SDAR and Estate (Audio). Luckily that Mr Tan is helping us out by using his car to help us transport the equipment to the Lecture hall. We started our by asking where the speaker would like the microphone to be and at each part of the Presentation, which microphone is in use. We did a dry run and realize that setting up of logistic is quite messy. But thankful to this rehearsal, I knew which was the most tedious part of setting is up and how to set up all the logistics in used. After this rehearsal, at least we know how will we perform for the next day which is the finale of everything.

This is the day that we are all looking forward to. Everyone one of us dress appropriately in either black pants or skirt with white long sleeve shirt and a blazer handheld. This morning was also our Company Law presentation. After this presentation, I am excited and nervous about the event that is will be held in the late afternoon at 6 30.

After the Company Law presentation, we went off straight to our next class which is WIL. We went to 73a lecture hall for the final rehearsal. This is the last rehearsal for the coordination between the speaker, Zeleng and Nurul and Yizhen, and the powerpointer, me. Everyone was very enthusiastic about this event as after this event, we are happy and has completed one module at least. Haha. We rehears and rehears until we almost skipped our lunch break. We went to our last class of the week which is Advance Financial Accounting Lecture. This was the very first time that Mr William actually dismiss us early and at least me and jia min, who are in charge of logistic have more time to set up the logistic stuff like Microphone, Micro’s stands and the wiring. After setting up, that’s not the time for us to rest, we still proceeded on testing all the microphones and the sound system as well as the projector. Although we are busy inside the hall or the control room, other classmates are also busy with their stuff like photo exhibition thingy and welcoming the guest who arrives early.

Actually everything went smoothly in the beginning around 5pm plus. But things went abit messy when the clock strikes 6pm. The photo exhibition was not ready for all the people who will be coming. Everyone were rushing so that event can start on time. The event started late around 6 40, but ended on time. During the presentation, there is abit of cope up that happened which all the group mates and Mrs Joyce Tang will know. Haha. I believed that we cover it fast enough and non of the audience note that mistake. After the presentation ended, this is when I pull over the blazer and walk out smartly. This was the first time I interact with the VIP and guest.

Everything ended at around 8 15 when me and Mr Tan carried everything to his car and around 8 40, everyone left the place with at least a smile and sign of relieve that WIL have come to an end. Here I would like to thank Mr tan and Mrs Joyce Tang for their patience and guidance for us to lead us through this module. Thank you.

First, the finale went smoothly. Although there are some minor problem, I think that wil be our learning points. As we learnt from mistakes.  

So , the full dress rehearsal for the finale was on Thursday. We were so excited about the finale. On Thursday, I learnt where is the point to connect all the mikes and assisted wen yong on the powerpoint. I can be considered as part of the logistic as I was supposed to set up the mikes on the stage. From this, I’ve learnt more about setting up mikes and the basic on the mixer. I knew how to on the mikes on the mixers and adjust the volume.

We went through few rehearsals on Thursday and everybody knew what they are supposed to do. We ended at around 10pm and coincidently, I can take the same bus as zeleng and so we wouldn’t be so lonely on the way home. Actually, it was the first time I went home so late from school. However, it was not very late to the rest as told by jia min and gang, they usually end their cca at around 11.30pm.

On Friday, we had rehearsal during our lesson time at lt 73a. During the rehearsal, I was wrapping the box meant for the cca slips. We realized that there was not enough time to buy the ingredients for making the dessert so we need to outsource from the canteen.  After the rehearsal, we had a light lunch then I waited for the rest until 5. Mr tan said I need not meet him earlier as there was no need to. The lecture ends about half an hour early and zeleng, yi zhen, nurul and carlin went to meet mrs tang to get the photos and get a ride to the lt. so I made my way to the lt with wen yong. When we reach the lt, the earlier event which was organized by school of engineering was about to end.

So wen yong called the security to open up the control room. We waited for about half an hour before the control room is open. Then I waited for the earlier event to clear the area before I started to set up the mikes. Setting up of the mikes was quite tiring. As i do not have the walkie talkie, I had to walk up and down the stairs to communicate with wen yong to switch on which mike to test. After setting up of the mikes, the psp personnel had not arrive and jia min had to leave with mrs tang to get the dessert. So we can only wit for the psp personnel to come as jia min said she had called them. Finally, the psp personnel arrived and he looked sort of blur. However, he managed to get everything sort out in time.

Once the event start, I start to videotape the event. For some reasons, my hands were shaking terribly. Half way during the event, I found an empty seat and the video did not look so shaky anymore. I couldn’t show the video on Tuesday. I gave the tape to my mum on Sunday, and then she gave to her friend on Monday and will give it back to me on Tuesday. It takes some time as I don’t stay with my mum and so there is delay.

On Tuesday, we had a debrief session and that was our last meeting. Everyone looked so sad but we will still meet up and get together. Now, we will focus on editing the video to be submitted and the individual report.

started out not knowing one another though they look familiar to me. was hesitant about the whole idea coz i’m the minority in the grp. but then as time goes by, working as a team.. i no longer have that feeling. i actually adapt to the changes and along the way learn n speak a bit of mandrin with them all. honestly i wouldn’t trade anything for this wonderful experience. each and everyone of them has a special mannerism which i find adorable. but seriously being a total stranger and after 14 weeks you’ve become so attached to them. the thought of it all makes me wanna cry. its really hard to describe the feelings but i definitely do treasure the bond and friendship built….definitely will miss them all truly. ok shall stop with all the mushified stuff. and now let’s get down to business.

20.07.2007. indeed a nice number to be having our finale. sometimes i wonder how we pull through to the last minute in making a 1 hr event a successful one. sweating and stressing for the last 14 weeks… indeed nothing comes easy. starting from the proposal… editing and re-editing… meetings after meetings.. changes to plans… and at the last minute there was still changes… but eventually everything turn out to be just fine. i guess its not about only the event but the learning process. learning how to plan and having back up plans, evaluating the idea… foresee things, whether the idea is feasible or not. definitely there’s a lot of brainstorming going on.

a weeek of preparation for the finale. reservation for all the items… under logistics… and then too many emails sent out… editing and re-editing of scripts. the tidious of all mostly for yi zhen the video part. but it turn out just wonderful. thank god. felt bad i couldn’t help much and she had to do most of the video. poor yi zhen. and then my personal experience as an emcee. definitely something i will remember for life. it didn’t strike me until the pt when i’m abt to step out to address e audience. i was practically freaking out and sweating. all the lines that i had memorize just poooof… gone. had to read frm the card and guess what i cnt even see properly coz the light was to bright. it was so obvious.. i was like stuttering. god i wish could just disappear that point. after which i think everything when smoothly and then came the video part… when it was the co-ordinators speech i was still shaking.. praying a miracle would happen.. zeleng take over my position. while they were having the speech i was seating on the floor singing to myself. zeleng said i was her only supporter.. frm the back i feel that zeleng was so laid back and funny.. she did a good job to me. hehe. =) and then the video part. i was sitting in between zeleng and yi zhen. zeleng reminded me and i reminded yi zhen for the next item which was suppose to be presentation of token… and guess what nt even 5 mins after which yi zhen totally skip tt part. and meee… after hearing her last sentence… auto respond and intro the nxt item – the performance. tt pt of time i was like ‘yi zhen did u jus skip e presentation of token part’. and yi zhen was like freaking out and i lost count of her apologies. haha. ;P it was funny. and then it came to the end of the show. mingling with the guests. get to hear opinion frm friends and the guests. good to know they liked it. i liked it tooo.

too many things haf happened… all funny and fun to talk abt. but i do not wish to flood the blog. but i love carlin, zeleng, yi zhen, casst, jiamin, jillian, wen yong n meei ferng. they are the best. and coz of carlin… everyone is calling me sayang. quote frm jillian favourite word, ‘thanks ah’. and wen yong i can’t believe i sold 12 pax of cookies coz u were too shy to approach ppl. thx ah. haha ;P

Anyway, there were still many hiccups along the event.

Mixed feelings went through my mind now as I was typing this entry. I was happy as it means that one module is down and less things for us to do. We don’t have to crack our brains to plan and organize and get ready for contingencies plan and of course, worrying about this and that. However, sad to say, it also means that the module is ending soon. And we are going for our attachment, leaving school and leaving each other. I know I will miss every single one of you. L Looking back at the times we went through together. From nine completely strangers till nine brother and sisters. Helping each other through times of trouble and sharing with each other the times of happiness. Went through a lot of things together. Although I guess we may have some dissatisfaction with some of the members at some times, compare to what we underwent together, it’s INSIGNIFICANT! All of the things are etched vividly in my memories and everything seems to just happen only yesterday……

On Monday, Jia Min and Jillian came over to my house to start our mass production. Initially, we aim to bake 1000 cookies but in the end we managed to bake only like 981 cookies. We were all exhausted but we had endured. And i’m glad that our perseverance paid off. Although the packaging was awful, it was fantastic.

On that day, we split up into several small groups. Ze leng and yi zhen were doing on the part of CSWs whilst, jillian, carlin, nurul and me were preparing on the part of the foreign workers. Everyone was so anxious. And we even have to trouble Nurul to make a few trips to buy us markers. Thanks alot! However, it seems that we are fated to faced with obstacles. The markers wouldn’t work! In the process of decorating the exhibition board, our shirts were soiled. We had inks blobs all over our shirt. Luckily, we had our blazers to cover us.

When the finale starts, everyone was perspiring as though we just had our sauna. Everything was not done. The photos were not completely up, the board were halfway through, some of us were not even nicely dressed and there’s no one at the receptionist when the audiences came. Everybody seems to be struggling with what they are doing.

Finally, the finale started. Though the crowd wasn’t as much as what we had targeted, i guess everyone is still quite satisfied with the results right?! I felt that eveyone enjoyed the video as much as i do. Appreciate the hard work Yi zhen and gang had done. I guess they must be very proud with their efforts too. Just like i’m swollen with pride that the cookies we baked are completely sold out! Yipee~ In spite that Yi zhen had read wrongly her script but i think she was calm and had handle the problem well. If it was me, i would like “Umm.. Oops!” *Bitter smile*. i was also so sad that i was ignored by Dr Goh. I was supposed to usher him back to his seat but he walk away himself. Maybe he’s too tall that there’s someone ushering him.

Anyway, the process maybe torturing but it was real fun to work with everyone of u. I’m glad that at this point of time, we met. And time is precious, we are going to leave school soon. Hate it! So we must treasure the remaing times spent together. I love u all~ :) 

Firstly, let me talk about our rehearsal. There were quite a few hiccups that we bumped into. Walkie-talkies were not working well and it was so exasperating to have to hear and speak with the muffled ones. We were like “hello hello, can you hear me?!” We even ran here and there just to test whether we can hear each other or not. The emcees and the student coordinators were rehearsing their lines over and over again. The powerpoint slides were not in line with what they said. We also wondered if there’s time to set up our photo exhibition after the previous event ends whether we can use the tables and chairs for our event. The video was also played to ensure that everything is perfect but there was a problem. The playing of the video was too lagged. It kept pausing here and there. The good thing is, we need not have any amplifiers for the performances though.

Selling of the cookies and accessories commenced last Tuesday. I will not forget the pain and suffering and torture we went through last Monday. Jiamin, Cassandra and me started baking the cookies around 4 plus at Cassandra’s home and only finished baking 2kg of them at 2am. We worked like pigs ok. I swear we looked so much like those factory workers. Just put those kind of covers over our heads and you’ll get 3 factory workers free of charge. Only for that day. Anyway, we had to stock-take the accessories and that means we only went home after 2.30am. I guessed we were typical Singaporeans whom were so kiasu that we bought 4kg of flour, 8 butter, 2 packs of sugar and many many eggs etc. We didn’t even get to use up all of them. What a waste of money and time spent in buying so many things. Not to mention, carrying them all the way back to Cassandra’s place. Luckily, our efforts were all paid off because all of our cookies were sold out. I wanted to bring back some for my family, but unfortunately, there’s none left. The accessories, however, were not popular. Only a few of them were sold. And they were all bought by people whom we know. But still, it’s better than nothing.

Newsletters were sent for printing thanks to Zeleng and Carlin for finding a cheaper one instead of the expensive one which we even had to wait for a week for them to print. 600 copies were printed and I personally felt that it’s way too much. The people turning up for our event were not that much. I thought we should have just printed 100 copies to save costs. We decided to order from canteen one stall’s dessert for our refreshments which costs 100 bucks and I think it’s quite cheap.  

Then came the long-awaited finale that we were all looking forward to. I can say it’s quite successful. I got to admit we really had no time to prepare. We were still rushing to finish the photo exhibition when the event started already. Carlin, Cassandra, Nurul, Zeleng, Yizhen and me were all busy with putting up photos. Jiamin and Wenyong were also busy setting up their logistic stuff. We even had Carlin’s friends helping us out. So, thanks alot! Anyway, I was disappointed that I missed a bit on the starting. I wanted to be inside watching the whole thing. Cassandra and me were filling the bowls for the refreshments when Jiamin suddenly yelled at me asking what’s the photograher doing outside instead of being inside taking photos. SO SAD! It’s true, I totally forgot that’s my job. I’m so sorry. So I went in and started taking shots. Soon, the event came to an end and it was time to give out the newsletters, serve refreshments, talk to the guests, take photos with them. We had positive feedbacks like they liked the video very much and also the composed song. I loved the video too. I shall wait for Carlin to burn me a copy and play it for my family. HAAA!

In conclusion, I really enjoyed myself throughout this whole journey and I sincerely thanked everyone for the hard work put in and I will surely miss everyone. I hope someday we’ll be able to work together again. I will miss all the fun that I had with you guys. Take care everyone and all the best for the up-coming exams. GOD BLESS.

On Monday after our is class, jillian and me went to cassandra’s house to bake the cookies…but before that, we went to the SSO to borrow and try out the blazer needed on that day…we took about an hour just to try it…i’m not exaggerating…then after that we headed to buy the ingredients needed to bake the cookies…it also took us about an hour plus…only after that we were ale to start baking the cookies…when we reached her house..we immediately started doing it…however, we realised we had forgot to purchase the sugar..so went down again..when we were going to put in the oven, we realised that there were only small trays…so it took a long time to finish baking 1kg of it…by the time we finished the 1kg, it was around 10 something already…we still have another 1kg to go…so by the time we finally finished baking…it was around 2am…we cleaned up the place and checked that the goods were correct before we left her house…and that was at around 2 something…we baked the cookies from 3pm plus to 2am plus..wow…that’s tiring…but no matter what..our efforts did paid off…the cookies turned out to be tasty and the most important thing was…we managed to sell all of the cookies…yeah…

On Tuesday, as usual we had our wil meeting…the three of us were looking and were very tired…we did a short rehearsal during the class…and while they were doing that, as i was in the logistic team there was nothing for me to do on tuesday rehearsal…so i went to edit the newsletter…after the class…all of us went down to the underpass and sell our cookies and goods and also to publicise for our event…i went to call the printer company to ask for the price again…and i found out that it takes 1 week working days to print the newsletter…and upon hearing that…i’m a bit depressed about it…when we had finally confirmed the thing already then say it takes 1 week to do that…but i have learn one thing…must plan earlier…we were left with no choice but to print black and white with the help of mrs tang…but luckily…zeleng and carlin managed to get someone to print for us and it takes a few hours only..so we ended up had a coloured newsletter…yeah..thanks carling and zeleng…

On Thursday, it was our full dress rehearsal…luckily, we managed to get the help from the poly stage production(PSP)…if not me and wenyong sure dunno how and what to do le..then the whole event might not be successful le…thanks for their help..oh anyway…get the contact of PSP from ian wong of sdar…he advised us to go look for them…and all the equipments needed for friday were already booked from estate earlier on…it was my first time to be in a logistic team..i’m supposed to control the lightings for the event…it’s kinda fun…since it was my first time doing that…oh we had also borrowed some walkie talkie so that we can communicate during the event…initially having difficulty using it..as all of us dunno how to use it..but in the end..i managed to figure it out..so happy…the rehearsal went quite well..just that for some certain parts required to improve on or change or edit…like adding music to the last part of the video…we had a short debrief after the whole rehearsal.

On Friday…finally is our event day le…in the morning we still had our company law presentation…so kinda nervous and scared also…after our company law tutorial, we went to wil class..we have another run of rehearsal…meanwhile..the rest of us went to do the decorating of the token of appreciation and the wrapping of the cca boxes…then we also had discussed about the refreshment..mrs tang found that it will be a bit too rush for us..she was afraid that we might not be able to handle it and she do not want us to do so many things before the start of the event…so we thought of purchasing the refreshment from canteen 1..jillian and me went to check it out…and fortunately, they were able to provide us the dessert…and it did not exceed our budget…however..there was one problem..we got to carry the 2 tubs ourselves..so we had decided to take it before the start of the event…everyone was busy decorating the exhibition board before the event..meanwhile..mrs tang and me went to collect the dessert…it was really heavy..thanks mrs tang for driving me there..and as a result your car got dirty…in the future..we really need to plan all these things beforehand and to ensure that everything is in place and in order…so that we no need to worry so many things before the event..

We got some positive feedbacks from the people who attended the event..they were enjoyed watching the video and think that we did a good job…so happy upon hearing it…however..we also have some negative feedbacks..like the event started quite late…there were some people who think that our event was kinda short..and from what I heard from them…some of them still dunno what is wil about after attending the event…we need to think through it as to where we can improve on..it will helps us in the future if we are going to organize any events…oh ya..also get to know that they like the composed song..they find it meaningful…glad to hear that…and dr goh and marilyn are interested to get in touch with the composer as to use his song in the future..the details I’m not too sure…oh ya..during the event..i wasn’t inside the lecture hall..so have no idea what is going on inside..but get to know that as yizhen was too nervous..she looked at the wrong card…but when I told my friends about it..they said that they didn’t realize it..they totally have no idea about it except for us…it showed that it’s not something bad..i really admired yizhen, nurul and zeleng…as they have the courage to even stand in front of so many people and still got to give speeches..u guys are great…xin ku ni men le..overall great job everyone…well done..thanks everyone for making this event a success…

However, that’s not the end of this module..we still got to do some final touch up..like need to do the balancing of the money etc..but no matter what..let’s work hard together…jia you..

The class first gathered as a group of 9, some complete strangers, and in the blink of an eye, the finale is over already!

Not too long ago, we were still worried about funds, and the number of people for the finale. Scripts…logisitics…. so much to think about…

Tues
Jillian/Cass/Jiamin brought in the cookies… and all of them look half dead because they’d been baking/packaging the cookies till god-knows-what-time. Tough work, but the cookies tasted good nonetheless. =D
Besides that, they lugged bags of goods (on consignment) to be sold. They reminded me of santa rinas (except maybe a bit pale due to lack of sleep… =x).
The cookies, though a bit pricey, were quite well-received. And I realised that the lecturers were exceptionally generous – most handed out the reds, instead of just ONE purple note. The one headache was the goods, worst, we didn’t get a proper license to set up at one of the pushcarts… uh, but that’s besides the point. =x

Took a lot of hard knocks going round school, handing out pamphlets, trying to get people to come down to our event…
Many thought the event was LATE, some others took it in for a while and promptly turned down our invites, while SOME others couldn’t even let us say anything more other than “hello, could you spare us a moment?…” it was horrible =(
At that moment, I fully understood what some other schoolmates go through when they tried to advertise their event as well.
“Do unto others what you would have others do unto you” BUT! at least I did listen to what they had to say before turning them down right?! Haha…

Wed
Video done, shown to class for final editing. All set, NOT. Tried burning it into a cd at night, and I couldn’t get the file to even open properly. Pictures gone, clips gone. Almost went insane (and almost ripped my hair off). Complete disaster and launched straight into mission RESCUE, but only after I’ve called up Zeleng/Nurul to yell about it. shoutout: thanks! for all that “relac relac”, though frankly, provided little comfort.
The mere thought of having to redo the whole thing again, coupled with the grim task of having to account to the group for the loss of the video was too much to bear really. So had to get it re-done, by hook or by crook….

Video redone-ed. Rehearsals…rehearsals…scripts still edited just one day before the finale, risky stuffs…
Moviemaker program went on strike again! -faints.
Got home late (could have been later if not for Mrs Tang, thanks! =D)

Finale! CLAW presentation!
Not enough sleep the day before, not very prepared for CLAW presentation. YIKES!
During rehearsal for WIL, we then realised our plans for refreshments weren’t feasible.
Good thing we heeded Mrs Tang’s advice, really…
Anyway, it suddenly seemed we had loads to do during rehearsal besides really rehearsing, and we never really got down to doing a FULL dry run I realised. Haha…

I couldn’t fully comprehend what the AFA lecture was about that day; my mind was just on the finalefinalefinale…

Complete fluster just before the finale started. A bit of mixup during the event. Started late, but ended on time, haha…
Generally good reviews, with some minor exceptions…

Quite an experience, being the emcee, alongside with Nurul. It was, for my personal record, public speaking like never before in my life. BIG BIG BIG thank you to the group for this chance and for all the hard work invested into making the finale a successful one! =0)

The preparation week, which actually is also considered to be the same week as the finale itself, so can really feel that the time is running out. When we feel that we got everything going as planned, there will be other questions popping up. But we kind of manage it as the time goes by. This whole week is supposed to be our mobile publicity week, where we are supposed to sell our cookies and consignment goods and in the mean time ask people to attend our event. But it seems that cookie is more sellable as compared to asking people to go our event. Many feedbacks that the event is a bit too late, starting at around 6.30 when their lessons for most end at an earlier time. Guess this is the part where we miscalculated, at first we all thought that starting at that time would be suitable as the latest class end at 6, but in actual fact most ended early for Friday. But we still have quite a lot of supporters saying that they would like to join, but still it not near our target yet.

OH MY GOD!!! What…the video can’t be played… I got a shock of my life when I got the call from Yi Zhen, especially when it is at Wednesday night, not morning or afternoon but night, before our rehearsal. No matter what she did, re-importing the file, restart the computer, anything that can be done, she just can’t get the video to open. In the end, she had to spend the night to rush out the video. Xin Ku Ni Le (hard on you), Yi Zhen… anyway, she redo the video on that night, I feel that it’s much better than the original one, so well done.

I and Carlin went over to Queensway to have the newsletters and photos print out. Haha… we bargain and bargain for a cheaper price, and sort of manage to get it… quite surprise that we can get the things later that night, they only needed two hours for the printing. Very fast service as compared to some where they needed one week to process. So after we send for printing, we went back to school for our project. After that, I went back over to get the materials, quite heavy and I got to squeeze in a crowded bus. So tiring. When I give the invoice to the BA admin, violet, she realize there some problem to the invoice, it should be address to the school, instead it’s written cash sale, so there will be some trouble when it’s in turn for the school audit. So I got to make another trip down again to have it change and they kept reminding me to tell the school to pay asap.

Rehearsal, guess what? We still have changes for scripts on the rehearsal, and a lot of things just don’t seem to work right. A lot got to be familiarize, like the PA systems, slides, video etc. especially the PA system, we have no idea how that suppose to work, seems so complication for that, so consider lucky that we are able to get helpers from the Poly Stage Production (PSP) to help us out. But the logistics team got quite a bit to handle. Oh ya, we don’t seem to be able to get the walkie talkie to work for us, only some can be use, then the others like cannot get any signal. Thanks to Jiamin, who manage to figure how to use, which then enable us to use.  Imagine that on the day of your rehearsal, you still need to edit the scriptsL. Though it’s to be edited to be shorter, cause we seems like talking about the same thing that will be shown in the video, so it got to be cut. Anyway I feel that it’s better, because I do not have to speak too much, and hopefully I won’t be tripping over too many words, hahaJ. Not again, the video can’t work again? It’s seems like the window movie maker don’t like to work at night or that it is tired of us already. But we manage to solve the problem. J

20 July 2007, FINALE!!! Finally it’s here. We got changes again, for the part for the dessert, in the end, we order from our school canteen, due to time constraint. Things are not as what we planned, especially the photo exhibition part. Seems like a lot to do, so we divide out, me and Yi Zhen focus on the CSWs photos while Cassandra, Jillian, Carlin and Nurul do the foreign workers part. Haha mi and Yi Zhen finish first, but our theme is like anyhow while theirs are neater with captions. Anyway, we needed some friends help for that, because time is running out and while we are doing our stuff, guests are arriving. Ended up, Nurul Yi Zhen and I had to leave them and go over to entertain our guests. We can’t seems to get the show to start, but manage anyway, seems like that the hardest. The MC got it quite smoothly, well done girls. Then the speeches follow, Mrs Seah and Dr Goh speeches like so short. Shorter then what we had planned for them. What, token of appreciation for us? Kidding man, Dr Goh, don’t anyhow scare me, I thought I be the one giving out the token to you not you to me, but thanks anyway. J After that is the coordinators speech, die, firstly the mike dies out on me after I gather the courage, then I don’t seems to talk smoothly, tripping over words, and I keep changing my own sentences. Heard laughter, not sure where it’s me or the things I say. Then Yi Zhen’s turn, wow, so smooth, haiz, seems like I doing very bad for it. Anyway it’s over. Thankfully everyone seems to like our video. Oh no, the sequence of the token and performance got wrong. But luckily, we manage to turn the thing over so it doesn’t look weird. Ya, we managed to end right on time, at 7.30pm sharp.  After the event, people seem to leave very fast… guess they are all rushing home to eat dinner right. Anyway, it’s quite successful, I think and I hope.

Debriefing… we got quite a lot of feedback from people who come; they all think that it’s a job well done, hopefully it’s true. Also there feedback that the event is very short, cause they waited so long just for that short duration doesn’t really seems worth it. But hope that the CCA points will satisfy them. Then our own debriefing, there quite a lot that can be improve on, like the time management for the photo exhibition, the flow of the event etc. but I think many of us really think that I didn’t do very well for my speech especially there’s Yi Zhen who have much more confidence than me in public speaking so looks like my talk sucks, I know that but truly it’s not easy to do public speaking in front of crowd. Sorry if I did not do well for it. But thanks Nurul, look like you are my only supporter who think that I do well for it, I love u hahaJ.

Anyway that about it, cause I gonna leave some for my report which is due next week or it will seems like I be repeating what I say. Tata the last journalJ

The finale is finally over. *hip hip hurray x 3* I must say everyone has done a great job in the finale and make this happen. Although there was a little hip cups in between, things went well *I hope*. I was freaking out in the beginning as the photo exhibition was supposed to be done by 6.15pm. But it didn’t! It was drag all the way up till the start of the event. This is due to the poor planning done for the photo exhibition part. We didn’t plan on how the exhibits were to be placed. So we actually spent some time thinking of how to put the exhibits. From 4.30pm, we think, until 5.30pm the idea is still not out yet. So in the end we spilt into 2 groups. One doing the exhibits on Geylang the other on Little India. Time ticks by, it was already 6.15pm already. There were friends who actually came at about 6pm because they waited until they were rather bored already. And also thanks to them, we got the exhibitions done “earlier”. I was already panicking already as the guest has arrived but we were still doing the exhibition. This means that there’s no reception! OMG! How bad can we get? I actually run all the way to the toilet to get changed as I wasn’t in the wear that I was supposed to be in. After changing, I rush back and continue on with the exhibition and gotten my shirt stained by the paint marker. Luckily there’s blazer, if not I would have looked super ugly on my white shirt. I think everything after that went on quite smoothly after that. Was really glad. After the whole event ended, all of us were like.. *phew* hahaha. So we started to take pictures with one another. Too bad my camera can’t work! If not there would be more photos! Hahaha.

I guess that’s all I will have to say for the final one (because if I continue on, my report will be like repeating? Hahaha.. )
